Antennas
Up to 1964, the antenna your Beetle ended up with depended
mainly on what the dealership felt like putting on it. Starting
in 1965, a standardized antenna was put into place, however
early antennas can easily be mounted on to later Beetles. Be
sure to check to see what kind of antenna you currently have, as
drilling may be required (and filling of the previous mounting
holes) if a different antenna is used.
