Unfortunately GEMO has
discontinued this item and once are stock is gone we're doubtful
we'll be able to get more. When we do run out we'll be switching
to a non-German supplier for this cable so if you want an OEM
cable for your Type 3 we recommend getting one now!
Originally there was another clutch cable VW used for the 62-65
Type 3's. While we carried this cable for many years we never
could figure out what the difference was - the early and late
cables were the same length and had no functional differences.
Even in our old dealership Type 3 parts book it listed both
cables as being the same length. So, as we finally sold out of
all of the early style cables we had and now can't get anymore,
we are now listing the late cable to fit all years. |
