These are
the more generic style hose clamps currently available. We
recommend that if you use them you keep an eye on them. While
they don't tend to wear out and lost their tightening ability,
they can cut into the hose they are holding down especially if
they are overtightened. We recommend that every time you change
your oil, to give all the fuel lines in your engine a thorough
inspection and replace anything that looks suspect. When it
comes to avoiding an engine fire, it's better to err on the side
of caution. |
