notes:
Many times these drop
into the inside of the firewall when the master cylinder is
replaced. However, they are crucial to have for two reasons:
1) so you don't crush the firewall area when tightening down the
master cylinder retaining bolts
2) when the spacers are missing, overtightening of the bolts
will cause your brake pedal pushrod to be too close to the
master cylinder which can cause the cylinder to fail
prematurely. |
