notes:
While the steering
coupler will reduce road vibration transmitted to your steering
wheel, excess vibration is usually due to a worn steering damper
and not the coupler. You will usually know a worn steering
coupler one of two ways -
1) You can see the coupler and there are cracks in it.
2) Your steering wheel is all over the place with little effect
on your car's direction. Since the coupler connects your
steering column to the your steering gearbox, an extremely
worn-out one will not mesh the two components together too well. |
