notes: On
pre-1960 Beetles and Ghias, while this end will fit there are
two issues with it:
1) It will not be aesthetically "correct" as this end has the eyelet for the
steering damper.
2) This end is longer than the original one because of the
eyelet which will make your entire tie rod assembly too long.
The only option is you still want to use the original tie rod
bar is to cut down the bar and rethread it, in which case just
buying a whole new assembly might be easier and certainly
quicker (113415802B).
