VW changed the way they
held the wiper arms to the wiper shafts repeatedly. Starting in
1969 for Buses and the 411 and in 1970 for all other models,
they started to thread the wiper shafts and used a special nut
to hold them on. These aluminum nuts not only served a purpose
but also were a nice decorative and unique touch. |
