This will replace the
points and condenser in your distributor giving you a point-less
electronic ignition. Manufacturer test results
show the Ignitor delivers twice the voltage to the spark plugs,
increasing horsepower, fuel economy and plug life. Also comes
with 30-month manufacturer warranty. We recommend keeping the
replaced points and condenser in your car with you so if
anything ever does go wrong, you can still get home. It is
recommended that you use the 00012 Bosch Blue Coil with the
internal ballast resistor.
This
style Ignitor will fit on the later style Bosch vacuum-advance
distributors (the style that use the Bosch 03010 caps). If you
are unsure of what distributor you have, check for the 10 digit
part number on the housing and match it up here.
Go to your distributor on the list and if the cap for it is a
03010, then this Ignitor should work for you.
Easy install - comes with directions. However, be sure to not
wire it backwards. |
