Backing plates usually get a
lot of abuse due to where they're at and after 50-60 years they
often start having serious issues. These new plates are a great
reproduction of the original and include the brake leaf spring
to keep your adjusters locked in place.
Attn 1966-1967 Beetle and 1966 Karmann Ghia Owners:
While these plates will fit your VW they are technically 68 &
later ones so there will be two adjusting holes in the back that
your year does not use. You will need to order 2 x 113609163
brake backing plate plugs (sold separately) to fill these in. |
