notes:
The W90 cam was designed for a step over the stock
but not quite as aggressive as a W100. This keeps the smooth
idle of the stock cam but increased performance over it. This
cam doesn't force you into more carburetion, hi-rev valve
springs, big valve heads or anything else other than Engle
lifters. This typically is what we use on 1600cc builds.
This is a flat cam and
must be used with an oil pump made for flat cams. If you are
using this in a 72 or later engine, the stock cam on these was
dished. This cam will work in those later engines but, again,
you have to change over to the flat cam oil pump.
Engle lifters must be used with this camshaft otherwise the
factory warranty is not valid. |
