notes:
VW started using these
o-rings a few years into the production run of the 1500cc in
both Buses and Type 3s most likely due to seeing a slight
seep-leak at the crankcase studs. They can be used on all
1500-1600cc engines and it's not a bad idea to add them to a
1300cc rebuild. They are not intended to be used with
case-sealing nuts (113101131A), just the stock plain nut. |
