This hard-to-find hose is
specially made to be brake fluid resistant. While many times
you'll find people using fuel hose, it's not recommended as it
will quickly deteriorate which not only pollutes your brake
fluid but also can fall apart and cause brake failure.
Please note that this hose is designed to fit very tight. To
avoid breaking the plastic ends on the master cylinder or
reservoir, we recommend either soaking the end of the hose in
hot water or dipping it in some brake fluid. |

CONTINENTAL HAS
MADE A PRODUCTION CHANGE IN THIS HOSE!
It is
no longer blue as shown in the pic (we'll update that soon) - it
is now black with a black cloth wrap with blue lettering. It is
still the same hose that is designed to be resistant to brake
fluid - it's just a different color. Please don't confuse this
with fuel hose - you can not use fuel hose in it's place - it
will rot out within weeks and contaminate your brake system
which can lead to a catastrophic brake failure. |
