The W100 is a great
performance cam for smaller engines with limited modifications.
It is rough at idle but smoothes out quickly as you accelerate.
Hi-Rev valve springs are recommended with this camshaft.
This is a flat cam and
must be used with an oil pump made for flat cams. If you are
using this in a 72 or later engine, the stock cam on these was
dished. This cam will work in those later engines but, again,
you have to change over to the flat cam oil pump.
Engle lifters must be used with this camshaft otherwise the
factory warranty is not valid. |
