Unlike the W90 and W100 cams
which let you stay stock for many of your components, the W110
really requires more carburetion and is much happier with big
valve heads and higher compression. But - if fed right it will
deliver good low and midrange power and is a big step into the
performance realm. Hi-Rev valve springs are recommended with
this camshaft (dual if running 1.25 rockers)
This is a flat cam and
must be used with an oil pump made for flat cams. If you are
using this in a 72 or later engine, the stock cam on these was
dished. This cam will work in those later engines but, again,
you have to change over to the flat cam oil pump.
Engle lifters must be used with this camshaft otherwise the
factory warranty is not valid. |
