The W120 is a much more
aggressive cam like the W110 but with a power band in the mid
and top-end that sacrifices low-end power and is certainly not
happy at idle. Will not work with a stock carb and really isn't
friendly with anything less that dual 2-barrel carbs. Larger
valves and dual springs are the order of the day with this carb
but the return on all the extra work is worth it.
This is a flat cam and
must be used with an oil pump made for flat cams. If you are
using this in a 72 or later engine, the stock cam on these was
dished. This cam will work in those later engines but, again,
you have to change over to the flat cam oil pump.
Engle lifters must be used with this camshaft otherwise the
factory warranty is not valid. |
