This kit allows shortening of the
clutch cable for custom applications (dune buggies with
shortened pans, etc). Installation is easy: the threaded end of
the clutch cable must be cut off and then the cable is pushed
through hole on the end of this kit. The large nut holds the
cable in place while the small nut (the kit actually comes with
two though only one is shown in the pic) is used to tighten the
kit once placed through the clutch cable arm on the
transmission. Due to thread differences, this kit can not be
used with a stock clutch cable wing nut. |
