notes:
While we've tried to cover
every application for this part correctly, basically this
block-off plate will fit any fuel tank that uses a screw-in
style sending unit. If you use the o-ringed twist-in style
(Super Beetles, Buses 74-79, and Type 4's) this will not fit
your tank. It's useful for converting aftermarket tanks that
have the sending unit hole cut-out for models that didn't
originally have a gauge (1961 Beetles and Ghias and some early
Buses) and also for any custom applications (such as fiberglass
buggies) where you want to delete or move the sending unit hole
without having to weld the hole on the tank closed. |

description:
Does not
come with seal or any mounting hardware (available separately).
These use the same seals and hardware as the stock sending
units.
These are usually raw metal so they will show blemishes, slight
surface rust, etc., from the manufacturing process. |
