The
profile on these will vary between the
original thin-profile version and the later Vanagon style hubcaps that are slightly taller.
We will always send the thin-profile version if available but
sometimes these are just not available. If you order a set of
four we will make sure they all match, but if you need less than
a set and have a preference on the profile, please note this in
your order comments.
As for quality, these
hubcaps, simply put, are what's available. The chrome is not
great and is not terribly durable against robust weather and
neighborhood dogs. We do inspect every hubcap when we receive
them and again when we ship them, to make sure that you get the
best of the batch in regard to chrome and physical dings and
blemishes (hubcaps many people sell would never get past our
quality-control). But, in the end, these are just not German
quality. We recommend waxing them to help extend the lift of the
chrome. |
