In 1973 with the advent of
the new tripod-mount seats, VW did away with the slider
adjustment in the front of the seat that allowed front to rear
seat movement and moved it to a box that sat on the center
tunnel near the emergency brake handle. This is the knob that
was used on those adjustment boxes. A 311881247 clip is required
per each knob to hold it onto the adjustment lever. |
